Nova Means "New"

At least that's what I've been told. "Nova Scotia" is actually "New Scotland." "Terra Nova" is "Newfoundland." See where I'm going with this?

It seems to be time for me to step up from the constraints of Face Book when I have something to say. It's clumsy and getting increasingly uncertain if anyone can even find me on Face Book anymore.

Well, I like expressing myself. I enjoy when readers not only read my rants, but respond to them as well. Feedback is key!

So I'd like to introduce my new Blog site and invite you to travel down the rabbit hole with me. God knows I get lost down there all the time! Having and contributing to a Blog will keep me organized and give me a place to "post" aka "write."

I promise to be inconsistantly inconsistant. Entertaining. Never boring.

It won't be political. That's waaaaay too easy. Will there be giggles? Probably. Will there be tears? One can only hope.

I will try not to start controversy, but isn't that debatable? You tell me.

Current events? Of course.

Recipes? You bet.

Statements on life in general? Fair game.

Turning sixty-five (yes, that's 65) can be a pivotal occurence in one's life, and I don't intend to waste it.

I'm planning on posting my Blog on a regular basis, starting once a week on Wednesday mornings. Won't you come along with me for the ride?
